Ginger Bryant is the Information Desk and Ticket Sales Manager for the Plemmons Student Union who works with student and professional teams to plan, market and implement ticketed events through Student Engagement and Leadership. These events include admission to the weekly films shown at the I.G. Greer Theater, APPS sponsored concerts and events at Legends social center and the Holmes Convocation Center.

 

Ginger also trains and manages the team of students who are the Information Assistants (IAs) posted at two central locations in the student union. The IAs play key roles because they welcome guests, give directions, know the event schedules and locations, and generally shepherd people coming through the student union. She also trains and manages the team of students who are the Ticket Sellers stationed at the main Information Desk in the student union, and assists Event Staff Ticket Sellers during large-scale events at Legends and Holmes Convocation Center.

 

Ginger believes her role working with students helps them gain important leadership, work, and life skills that they take forward from App State.

 

Before coming to App State, Ginger worked as a patient coordinator for Appalachian Regional Healthcare and business manager for St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church. An artist and member of the Watauga Arts Council, she has shown her work in various galleries and venues in Winston-Salem, Greensboro, Boone and surrounding counties.
