Student Employment Opportunities
The Plemmons Student Union offers a variety of positions for part-time student employment. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org or visit the Student Engagement & Leadership Office, 231 Plemmons Student Union if you are interested in more information about joining our team.
Please send employment application as an attachment to email@example.com.* (Only electronic copies will be accepted). You will be contacted in the event that employment is available. Applications will be held for 90 days.

Plemmons Student Union Work Positions
- New employees must be able to work a minimum of 6 hrs. per week.
- Employees can work in more than one area.
Operations Assistant (O.A.)
Working with a crew of other students, this position has primary responsibility for room set-ups, cleaning, & work station substitutions.
Works food events in the Student Union to help event waste be successfully sorted into compost, recycling and trash. This position is as needed during event times.
Student Union Desk and Welcome Center
Provides phone listings, campus event and Student Union information to patrons within the PSU and via phone calls.
Oversee activities in the Game Room, provide change and perform register transactions.
Responsible for ticket and concession sales as well as projectionist duties during the showing of campus movies at the Greenbriar Theater & Greer Cinema.
Screen calls, schedule meetings and greet visitors to the Student Engagment & Leadership & McCaskey Center Offices
Assists patrons in set up, operation, and troubleshooting of audiovisual equipment for events including computers, Data/VHS/DVD projection, & sound reinforcement. Students who are familiar with this type of equipment and have a technical background are preferred.
Sells tickets, runs cash register and charge card sales for campus events sold at the Information Desk. Shifts are from 10am-1pm, 1pm-4pm Monday-Friday.
Monitors student and guest use of the Solarium, and lounge space throughout building. Duties include straightening furniture, cleaning & wiping tables, and emptying trash.
