Who May Use the Plemmons Student Union
The use of the Plemmons Student Union & Legends is reserved during the academic year for ASU students and their guests, and university organizations and departments. Both facilities are supported exclusively by student fees and neither facility receives any tax money or tuition support.
The Plemmons Student Union may be reserved for meetings and special events by registered ASU student organizations, ASU Administrative Offices, and ASU Faculty Departments. Non-university groups and agencies are eligible to reserve facility space during the summer sessions when scheduled through the Office of Conference & Camp Services (if the activity is educational and/or residential in nature), and when approved by the Associate Director of Student Programs. Non-university groups will be charged a room rental fee – and a staffing fee for special events.
Individual ASU students, faculty or staff are not eligible to reserve facility space within the Plemmons Student Union, as well as non-university affiliated individuals. With the exceptions of weddings and wedding receptions, the Student Union may not be reserved for such non-university functions as showers, family reunions, civic organization events, etc.
